New MagneMotion Line goes into Production

Congratulations go to Lear Corporation, where our latest Rockwell Automation MagneMotion production line controls system for car seat manufacture has gone into production.

As a MagneMotion Systems Integrator, we completed the initial RAMP test on Thursday confirming a throughput of 12 seats per hour to validate system integration, recovery behaviour, and end-to-end process performance with production parts. Phase B of the RAMP testing will show a throughput of 60 seats per hour.

This important car seat production line uses 60 MagneMotion movers over 13 build stations, manual inspection area and 4 test lanes to achieve the required cycle time of 85 seconds per pair of seats, ensuring that the seats move around the system in matched pairs (left and right hand seats).
